This was a clearance coffee maker I picked up by chance while at Sears.  I didn't want to spend over $20 and all the new coffee makers prices start at $60 now-a-days.  This is a great coffee maker.  No clock to reset after the power goes off.  And there is no auto shut off, so don't leave it on.  I think I paid $15 plus tax.  So I bought two, one to give away.  It has the washable screen filter, which I never had had before.   It works great.  I am so thankful that I could get a SIMPLE coffee maker without paying $60.  Now I can afford to make some starbucks coffee in it.
