It's not very powerful but it does its job to blend up the fruit well .I mostly use it for smoothies and sauces the blades not really strong enough for a lot of ice or powerful enough to do it without a liquid form water or Etc.

Great blender. Multiple speeds for different ways to blend different things. Works great for crushing ice or just making a smoothie. There are multiple levels to blend or chop on. The blender and everything is fairly easy to clean. Notion comes apart easily and quick. Blade is sharp and does a great job and slicing and dicing. Quick cleanup and fairly little mess blender lid sits tight and doesn't allow anything to spew out or leak. Currently own 2 of these blenders that's how great it is. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an effective blender to do the job well. Features are all great.

I bought this particular coffee maker while I was traveling on a construction job. I was tired of starting my day early and going to restaurants and convenience stores for coffee. My overall reason for buy this particular coffee maker at the time was the price. I looked at several and chose the least expensive in the store, I knew it only had to last a couple of weeks. In the coming days I began to realize what a good deal this little coffee maker really was. not only was it very inexpensive it was very easy to set up and use and very easy to maintain cleanliness of the coffee maker. I kept this coffee maker working hard for nearly twenty four hours a day for over two weeks and it never failed or left me lacking for a hot cup of coffee. I would with out any doubt buy another one of thes if I could find it locally. I would also recommend it to friends, don't let the low price scare you away from this great item.

The Proctor Silex 12-Cup Coffeemaker is a perfect everyday coffee maker. It is easy and simple to set up and have your coffee ready in little time. We are not big coffee drinkers in my home so I usually make only a cup or two at a time, but of course you can make up to 12. It stays warm and fresh for awhile so its nice to come back for a refill after an hour or two. It is simple for kids to use and set up as well and makes for an easy and fast cleanup. We have had ours awhile and have had no problems or complications with it, so I believe its good quality. Proctor Silex has a variety of appliances and I have heard they last for awhile. So we are satisfied with ours. Brew Performance The brew performance is tasty and depending on the coffee there are some really great ones. Ease of Cleaning Simple, quick and easy to cleanup and setup again for the next time you use. Ease of Use Very easy, even for kids. Design The design is simple and classical and all you really need for an everyday coffee maker.

I love this coffee maker. I prepare the water and coffee the night before and all I need to do to begin the day is turn on the pot in the morning. While I begin my day the coffee is brewing and making the house smell wonderful and cozy. Brew Performance The coffee brews quickly and is ready for me to pour a cup as I begin my day and take the dog for a walk with a wonderful cup of coffee. Ease of Cleaning Cleaning is easy as it is designed to clean easily and quickly. Ease of Use Add water, filter and coffee in the evening and get up in the morning and cut on the pot while you brush your teeth. Coffee is ready to be poured and enjoyed as you take your best friend out for their morning walk with a moment to enjoy the coffee and beauty around you. Design There are a few crevices that require a little rubbing to get it clean however they are not a major concern as it is easy to reach and a sponge is my preferred product to use in the cleaning process

When needing to make a pot of coffee, this unit is average. It makes an okay pot of coffee and performs well enough. It was a sale item that performs as expected, my expectations were not that high for this unit. Brew Performance This coffee maker seems to take it's time brewing and is very, very noisy about half way through the brewing process. Ease of Cleaning It is easy enough to clean as all the drip brewers are. It gets its full vinegar cleaning treatment regularly to keep it performing at it's best. Ease of Use Very easy to use as all coffee drip makers seem to be: pour water into the water basin, put a filter in the basket then add the coffee grounds, turn on the machine and shortly you will have a pot of coffee. Design The design is somewhat lacking. The coffee pot drips all over if not very careful when pouring. I cannot use the coffee pot to replenish the water basin for that same reason. Durability This coffee maker has been used at least once daily and still keeps going as it did when first purchased about nine months ago.

We recently had to replace a high end blender that we had received for our wedding years ago, because it had broken. Not wanting to spend a ton of money and figuring "a blender's a blender" ... we picked up the Hamilton Beach Aguas Frescas 10 Speed Blender at Walmart. Poor choice on our part. Our old blender could also double as a food processor and chop up harder objects (such as almonds or other nuts) - the Hamilton Beach Aguas Frescas 10 Speed Blender works well for smoothies, but that is about it. There's also a TINY plastic/rubber ring, that needs to be around the bottom part of the blender or your smoothie (or other blended substance) will be ALL OVER THE COUNTER. Be advised, this plastic ring is EXTREMELY easy to lose in the dishwasher. But make sure it's on there ... or you will have one heck of a mess. Decent blender for the price, all in all, but don't expect the performance of a high end blender.

I received this blender as as gift about six months ago. I have used it to make smoothies, margaritas, purees and milkshakes. It is very easy to use and also easy to clean. The bottom comes apart completely for a very efficient clean up. There are several different speeds typical of a blender - pulse, chop, blend. Makes a very good smoothie. I would recommend this blender to anyone it is easy to use, convenient to clean and store, and its not very expensive. Blending Power It does take a little bit longer to get ice to chop down to size for margaritas. It does blend very well and is excellent for smoothies. Chops fruit up very easily. Ease of Cleaning Extremely easy to clean. The bottom comes apart easily with a twist exposing a part with the blades and a rubber ring. Ease of Use Very self explanatory. Works just like a typical blender. Durability It is made of thick glass. I have dropped once and it did not break or chip at all.

This was one of the first blenders I ever purchased out on my own. It did a great job for basic needs. It did its job when making smoothies, or any kind of other blended drink. However, the longer I had this blender, the less it did its job. After using it about ten times, it began having trouble blending certain things. For instance, when blending smoothies I sometimes use ice cubes. It began having trouble blending these. So at first I thought it was the size of the cubes so I broke them up a little before putting them in to be crushed. Still it hard trouble blending the ice. Then I noticed it started to have trouble blending frozen fruits, especially strawberry's. So before using frozen strawberry's I had to either cut them in half or let them thaw some before use. All in all, this is a nice blender for what it's usually priced. If you want it for just the simplest things, its worth it. However, if you frequently use your blender, so a multitude of different uses, I would look to a higher end blender.
