Many of our reviewers find that using Proctor & Gamble Swiffer Floor Cleaning Tools makes keeping their stone, hardwood, tile and ceramic floors clean that much easier. These products include the Swiffer Sweeper to sweep up hair, dirt and “dust bunnies” from your floor and the Swiffer Wet Jet for mopping and cleaning floors, even hardwood. Lbeckley likes that there are “No buckets of water to worry over. No spills, no mess.” Oklahomaroute66 says, “the dry Swiffer does a decent job of picking up the hair. I like the citrus scented wet Swiffer pads and the fact that they are "wet" enough right out of the box.” Refills may be expensive. Overall what is liked best about the Swiffer Floor Cleaning tools is their ease of use and convenience. Reviewers recommend using them for quick cleaning but not for that floor to ceiling overall clean, you may want to stick to vacuums and mops.

    We moved into our new home in 2006. The main level is mostly hardwood floors and I absolutely love them but only if they are kept clean. I am unsure of swiffer floor products.  I've bought the mop and of course the pads to go along with it, but I have found that it almost works like a sponge mop, which I hate by the way. It seems to always leave a dirty trail, and I end up having to go over and over with it until my floor is clean....

Products are just ok.  Refills are expensive.  It works well for quick pick ups but not for extensive cleaning.  Also the vacume makes squicking sounds and the pad doesn't stay on.

I remember when I first brought home the swiffer dry mop.  My husband said "That is a piece of junk."  Then, he tried it, and he quickly changed his mind.  He then said, "This is the best thing you have ever brought home."

We have stone floors in the foyer, kitchen and bathrooms.  We use the swiffer dry to pick up the dust that accumulates and then we go over the floors with the wet cloths.  Actually, they last quite long, because once one side is dirty, you can always turn it over and use the other side.  I assume most people don't do that.  But, I do.  Thus, I am not using so many swiffer...

Swiffer- a mixed blessing...

Due to the fact that I have linoleum based flooring, I have to use a product that cleans and protects the surface. I have chosen to use the Swiffer system, as traditional mopping, gets quite exhausting. However, there are pros and cons to the Swiffer wipes. First of all, just attach your wipe to the unit, and you are ready to rock and roll. You can pick up a great deal of dust bunnies, regular baby messes, and food particles all on one wipe. The downfall is that they don't necessarily get EVERYTHING up, as I would like. The ole' trusty mop and bucket method work much better, but when you are short...

Convenient

We recently pulled up our carpet and put down vinyl flooring throughout the house.  While I like most aspects of the Swiffer system, I feel the refills are a bit on the expensive side.  That being said, I still buy them.  I do use both sides of the Swiffer pads, both wet and dry, so this does cut down on usage a little bit.

I like that the dry Swiffer pads pick up a lot of pet hair. With 2 pugs and 3 cats, we have a lot of shedding, and the dry Swiffer does a decent job of picking up the hair.  I like the citrus scented wet Swiffer pads and the fact that they are "wet" enough right out of the... review »

I worked for a lady who has OCD for about 5 years. She was very picky, and when she found this produce, it made both of our lives easier. When we cleaned the rooms with no carpet, we had to sweep, vacuum, dust, and then wash the floors. once she got the Swiffer she felt that the floors were so clean we skipped right to the washing. If I had the choice, I would have given her the "biggest change of the year" award, I was very proud of her, and thanks to the Swiffer, there is one less OCD pacient in agony.

If you are someone who stays ontop of the keeping up with uncarpeted floors the swiffer is the ticket for you..I love mine  I use both wet and dry swiffer sheets. If you get real behind on using swiffer wet you might need to resort to  old fashion scrubbing  This is one of my favorite cleaning product  Hey I even use the swiffer dry sheets for dusting by hand.  If you do not have a swiffer get a swiffer SWIFFER IS QUICKER

Swiffer Vacuum - my favorite floor cleaning tool!

My mom had told me how great the Swiffer Vacuum was on hardwood and linolium floors. But I didn't know if it was worth $22. I finally bought one and love it! It vacuums hard floors and it has a swiffer cloth on it that picks up the little lint or hair that the vacuum might miss.  It comes with a charger - so no batteries required.  And the vacuum dirt cup is easy to empty.  Lightweight enough for my 6 year old to use it. I use it every day!

I use the Swiffer floor sweeper and swiffer duster and they have been so beneficial to my cleaning routine! I have all hardwood floors and the swiffer sweeper is amazingly fast and thorough. It picks up mostly everything in it's way! I do have a harder time with bigger crumbs, but the overall performance is wonderful. Thank you Swiffer!

The Swiffer is great as a dust mop & for quick clean ups as a wet mop.  I use it in both my kitchen and bathroom for quick and easy cleaning.  The fact that the wet & dry covers are disposable is also a big plus.  No more wringing out a spaghetti mop, or sloshing water from a bucket!

I get great results when I sweep with the swiffer on hardwood floors.

  The best part I find is being able to maneuver into all kinds of small and odd shaped spaces.

 To save money, I've also used the reverse side of the cloth!  shhh don't tell.

The Swiffer Wet is a great asset to household cleaning. Kitchen linoleum floors, hardwoods, and bathroom tile flooring all come out sparkling clean. The scent is fresh and not overpowering. I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the Swiffer cleaning products.
