Due to the fact that I have linoleum based flooring, I have to use a product that cleans and protects the surface. I have chosen to use the Swiffer system, as traditional mopping, gets quite exhausting. However, there are pros and cons to the Swiffer wipes. First of all, just attach your wipe to the unit, and you are ready to rock and roll. You can pick up a great deal of dust bunnies, regular baby messes, and food particles all on one wipe. We recently pulled up our carpet and put down vinyl flooring throughout the house.  While I like most aspects of the Swiffer system, I feel the refills are a bit on the expensive side.  That being said, I still buy them.  I do use both sides of the Swiffer pads, both wet and dry, so this does cut down on usage a little bit. — — I like that the dry Swiffer pads pick up a lot of pet hair. I worked for a lady who has OCD for about 5 years. She was very picky, and when she found this produce, it made both of our lives easier. When we cleaned the rooms with no carpet, we had to sweep, vacuum, dust, and then wash the floors. once she got the Swiffer she felt that the floors were so clean we skipped right to the washing. My mom had told me how great the Swiffer Vacuum was on hardwood and linolium floors. But I didn't know if it was worth $22. I finally bought one and love it! It vacuums hard floors and it has a swiffer cloth on it that picks up the little lint or hair that the vacuum might miss.  It comes with a charger - so no batteries required.  And the vacuum dirt cup is easy to empty.  Lightweight enough for my 6 year old to use it. I use the Swiffer floor sweeper and swiffer duster and they have been so beneficial to my cleaning routine! I have all hardwood floors and the swiffer sweeper is amazingly fast and thorough.
