The Febreze Air Effects come in 9.7 ounce bottles, light blue in color, with added colors and different heads depending on what fragrance it is. The Air Effects sell around $2.99 up to about 3 and a half dollars depending on where you look for them. Currently they come in 5 different fragrances; Meadows and Rain, Blossoms and Breeze, Spring and Renewal, Summer and Splash, and Citrus and Light. Myself, I go for the Blossoms and Breeze, because it has a nice smell to it that is not too strong for my apartment, and is not too "girly" for me to get made fun of. I am sure if I kept the Febreze out though, that I would receive a few under-the-breath jokes, but I don't care. It does a good job for me, and that is all I care about.
Febreze has many uses, and that is especially the case for these Air Effects which can be used to improve the odor of an entire room, or just specific items in that room. The uses are vast, and include freshening sofas, curtains, carpets, cars, pet areas, clothing, gym bags, bedding, and fabric or canvas shoes. Using it to improve the smell of a shoe closet, or to spruce up your car are just a couple of the uses that I have found the air fresheners to be good for. The reason that Febreze out does a lot of other products, in my humble opinion, is that instead of making a room smell like something, it instead makes it smell clean. That clean smelling atmosphere is something I really enjoy, and it makes me smile everytime I see one of the commercials with people just stopping and smelling the areas that they have just used it in.
Febreze has become a product that you can pick up just about anywhere; from a drug-store, to a supermarket, to a convenience store, it is just about everywhere. The Air effects, on the other hand, are more likely found in a grocery store or a store like Wal-Mart. They are very easy to use, and the smell can improve just about an area in your house. For about 2 hours, the aroma from the Febreze seems to last, but it has the added benefit of removing the odor that started there. So, even if the great smell wears off after a while, it replaces the bad odor with a feeling of cleanliness and the elimination of any prior smells. If you are a fan of Febreze, I highly recommend that you give the Air Effects a try. You can even take a quick whiff at the store, just to see which smell you would most like. Proctor and Gamble really got it right with this product.
