Problogger.com Review

I stumbled upon Problogger.com by accident, doing the most common search that gets people to the Problogger.com site: searching for ways to make money with my blog.

Problogger.com is the brainchild of Darren Rowse, who blogs at this and several other sites full-time.  He is an Australian who resides in Melbourne and runs a Christian site called LivingRoom.  His earnings are impressive-- he recently purchased a house and put down a down payment with the earnings from his blogs.  His blog earnings come from a variety of ad sources, including Google Adsense, Chitika and Amazon Associates.  He is easily called "The King of Blogging" and his name is often mentioned in blog articles and at conferences.  In fact, at the recent SOB conference in Chicago, his name was mentioned several times.

Darren's blog header is divided into three parts: Blog tips for Beginners, Advanced blog tips and a job section related to blogging.  He covers a wide variety of topics, from search engine optimization and ways to boost traffice to your site, to building a social network and more.   If you're a new visitor to his site, be sure to check out the top twenty articles (located in the upper left corner on his site) that cover nearly every subject related to blogging.

One of the reasons that this site is so popular is Darren himself-- he has a friendly, open personality and he is willing to help and teach others the lessons that he's learned from his years of blogging.
