i had really bad acne. my roommate recommended that i try proactiv, she said it was great and cleared her skin up. the first month, i saw results, but not the kind i was expecting. i was actually breaking out! Proactiv pro activ 3 step program
The ProActiv 3 step system works, but I could not use it daily. I would use the product and my skin would be fine, but the days I used the Acne mask, it cause irritation. So I would only use the mask once a week instead of twice a week. But that didn't work, it appeared that everytime I used the mask it would cause a break out. I was only using Proactiv as a preventitive measure, I never suffered from Acne. So when my face began to break out due to the Acne Mask. I've shyed away from using the prodict.

Proactiv Solution Acne Treatment
I do not like this product, money not well spent... I was so excited that I got this product after seeing all the commercial hype but was so disapointed when I used it!! I was very faithful, used it morning and night as recommended but did not work for my skin. If anything it makes it worse. I called customer service complaining but they told me that it suppose to work like that (that not what the commercial say...) I used the product for 3 months.. defn a waste of money!!!
Customer service representative were not too nice. I guess they were fustrated with the fact that I am requesting my money...
Proactiv face mask
Proactive face mask does help take the redness away but it doe not clear up the acne as I thought it should. I t is an ok product but I believe there are better products out there. I purchased this for my granddaughter but am going to search for something else. Maybe we should give this another chance. Especially since everything is so expensive now. I got the on a trail basis so the price was good but to replace the products is expensive.

I BELIEVE PROACTIV IS SOMETHING THAT REALLY DOES WORK BUT NOT FOR EVERYONE. I have tried everything for my acne. I even did TWO rounds of Acutane. I've been on birth control, numerous types of oral antibiotics, and almost every face cream/wash available, prescription and non-prescription alike. As a last-ditch effort, I got some Proactiv. Within a month or two, my face was noticeably clearer. Proactiv does not get rid of blackheads! It got rid of the big, red, swollen, painful zits, but my blackheads still trouble me. Proactiv is played up way too much in the media and setting very high expectations/standards that it cannot always live up to. When I finally convinced my mother to spend her money and buy Proactiv for me, I was very excited and really thought it was going to work, well for me at least. I was one of the unlucky people who had the type of acne that was several layers below the skin and was very painful. It would take weeks before the acne would surface and you could feel it coming to the surface. It also took 3 or more weeks to get rid of.
Like most people who suffer the adult acne breakouts, I was cautious as to the boasting that this product will stop your acne AND help heal your breakout quicker with their special mask. WOW! Proactiv Refining Mask
I was very skeptical about Proactive at first. I finally tried it ater I just could not take it anymore. Everything I had purchased from drug stores was not making a difference with my face. After about a week of using Proactive, finally I started to see improvements. EUREKA, I could not have been happier. The refining mask is such a versatile product. I use it as a spot treatment and as a mask. It really clears up any spots that might appear within 24 hours.
