nothing special

a person who wants simple skin care, a person with oily skin, occasional adult acne, willing to pay for quality

I had perfect skin as a teenager and developed adult acne, go figure. I have always use Murad with great success. However, when we moved to a different part of the country recently, the climate has made my skin freak out. Murad stopped working, so I decided to try Proactiv. The first week, results were fantastic, my skin stared to heal and the redness started to go away. But after the first week, my skin started getting really dry, and I was only using the product once a day and then every other day, and then twice a week, and it kept getting worse. My skin looked sunburned and was peeling horribly, even though at night I would use extra moisturizing creams, it didn't help. I had to stop using proactiv as a system and now I use one product per day, instead of all 3 and it seems to keep my skin from drying out. Overall I would not use this product again once I run out. I do however recommend using Neosporin on your pimples, it really helps them heal fast.
