Proactiv Solution Acne Treatment Review

I am 23 now, but when I was a teenager, I used to have really bad acne on my face, chest and back, I mean REALLY bad. I tried all of the teen things like noxema, clearsil pads, nature's miracle (pills and lotion), cetaphil, everything over the counter. Finally I went to a dermatologist who prescribed me oral medication (not birth control) and a special, really expensive cream that I had to keep in the fridge. Not only did this cream do absolutely nothing, but I had to endure ice cold lotion all over my back 3 times a day! Nope, nothing, nada... I had been watching the proactive commercials on tv for months and, as most of you are, I was skeptical. I mean, I had tried everything, even prescription medication and nothing worked. I finally figured, fine, this is it. I'll try this last product and then I'll just have to deal with the fact that I'll have bad acne and probably scarring. WOW... seriously the best thing I've ever tried. I bought the kit with the cleanser, toner and repairing lotion and used it religiously.. this is key. Morning and night. I believe I used it morning noon and night at first. I started noticing a difference the very next day. If used religiously, it will help. It cleared my skin and when it came time when I didn't need the constant shipment of it, I had no troubles cancelling my order. I still keep the repairing lotion on hand for those occasionaly blemishes and it still works like a charm! If you're at your wits end with all of the other products, trust me, give it a try but be diligent about using it or else it won't work.

 For maintenance it's fair for the occasional blemish but I don't use it regularly anymore because it can be drying if you use it on normal skin. The package does come with a light moisturizer though which helps when you might have those problems but still need to use the product.
