Proactiv works, but you have to use it the rest of your life

keeping my skin clear, into anti-aging creams, troubled by acne

Pros

For most ages, Easy to Use, Begins to work within a few days, great skin maintence system, Fast results

Cons

acne comes back, have to use it for the rest of your life, Can't buy at drugstore., can dry out skin, cost too much

Proactiv Solution Acne Treatment —

I saw the "infomercial" and ordered Proativ about 1 1/2 years ago because I suffered from teenage and adult acne (38 yrs old now). I used the daily regimen of products and my face cleared up. I was thrilled. Then came the day when I couldn't afford it anymore and WHAM...my face looked worse than before I had ever started using it. I would only recommend Proactiv if you can afford to pay for it for the rest of your life (which I couldn't). I am now using a couple of different products which I will do a review on a little later.

Hi! I read your review on Proactiv. I had a bad reaction to it. I had to quit using it and went to a dermatologist. I have really sensitive skin.

I was always tempted by the infomercials, but never quite took the plunge. I'm now on a regimen that is working pretty well for my normal-to-oily, acne prone skin. Hopefully, it will continue to work. :)
