The ProActive system starts well, but watch out sensitive skin!

low maintenance, keeping my skin clear, budget conscious

Works unlike anything else!, Easy to Use, cleans as it moisturizes

Cons

acne comes back, can dry out skin

My sister has worked in multiple beauty stores and doesn't believe in the ProActive system, but when a friend of mine stayed over and let me use it, I was hooked. When I started using the system I was about 10 weeks from my wedding, I needed to have clear skin. At first my skin was too sensitive but once I adjusted how often I used it everything balanced out. Now I only have an occasional pimple when I'm PMSing (I used to break out all over my face). I had beautifully clear skin for my wedding day. Sadly, five months after my wedding my pores are larger and my skin is ALWAYS dry. I will probably be looking for something that is much more of a multi-tasker than Proactive.

UPDATE: After using Proactive for months, I am finding that my pores are larger and no matter how much moisterizer I use, I can't get my skin to stop flaking. I think it's time to look for something else :-(

Proactiv didn't help my skin. I have very sensitive skin and Proactiv just made my skin worse. I had to end up going to a dermatologist and finally my skin is clear and smooth. I am so glad it is working for you.
