Proactiv Solution 3 Step System Kit Review

I have been using Proactiv Solutions for about a seven years now! Though I've always had a lot of confidence, my mom urged me to try Proactiv when she noticed that my breakouts were getting really bad. Now that I look back to pictures at prom, I notice just how bad my skin used to be. Proactiv cleared up all my pimples and red spots and keeps them away. It is absolutely worth the money spent monthly to have perfect skin. A blemish will arise every once in a while, but it never stays long!

One thing to mention though, is that the third step of the Proactiv system, the Repairing Lotion, will bleach certain cotton fabrics that it comes into contact with for long periods of time, such as pillow cases, some cotton blue or brown t-shirts that are cheaply dyed, etc. You may also want to wipe any of the Repairing Lotion off of your eyebrows after application. My eyebrows are still brown, but they are now have some completely blonde hairs interspersed in the mix. Not detrimental, but I probably should mention it.

Also, once you use Proactiv Repairing Lotion (the third step), you will probably not be able to stop using it until your face clears up on your own (after puberty or menopause, or some type of major hormonal/lifestyle shift). Like toothpaste for sensitive teeth, I noticed that I cannot go one day or one night without using Proactiv and breaking out again. Basically, you have to keep it on your skin once you start using it. But it is sooo worth it!

Oh, and by the way, start with just the regular strength Repairing Lotion, don't use the Extra Strength, it is way, way too strong and made my skin peel off. It took about a week for my skin to get back to its normal moisture-level.
