I'm a full-time student and a full-time dance choreographer. I'm usually around a lot of people so many people see my face a lot. I actually became very insecure about my face because I have gotten so many marks and scars from my acne. My older sister suggested that I try Proactive. After much thought and reviewing the product, I decided to finally try it. The package came in within a week and a half and immediately I opened it up, read the brochure and started to wash my face like the instructions told me to do so. The first week, my acne began to clear up however, within the second and third week, my face started becoming extremely dry. I didn't know why because I was using the moisturizer but still it was drying out and after a while it began to flake. I was so embarrassed. Thinking that maybe I was using it too often, I stopped using it in the morning and night and just stuck out to using it at night. But still once again, my face dried out constantly till I had to stay home. I contacted the customer service of proactive within a week and told them the situation, they said to stop using it for awhile and then start up again and so I did. But the process started up all over again. So I called again and by this time, I was so upset that I told them, I wanted my money back. I was displeased with the product. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends and I later on told my sister what had happened and we ended up just going to a dermatologist.
