My husband purchased the ProForm XP 650E for me at Christmas 2007 and of course how I am I didnt use it everyday. I had it plugged into a circuit breaker plug and everything and one day I got on it and turned it on and started to walk on it and everything just shuts down. I think it has to have something to do with the computer board. We purchased this at Sears and of course by the time this happened it was a few months after warranty. So now Sears tells me it is going to cost $75 just to diagnose it! This treadmill was probably only used less than 50 times. So because we didnt buy the extended warranty and now that I have time to use it as I was just laid off work (umm that means no money to fix it either) I dont have the money to fix it and the warranty has expired. I guess that will teach me to either take out the extended warranty or be more diligent in my work outs! Up until that point I loved the treadmill, was comfortable to walk on and gives you every kind of work out you would want in the computer program........too bad it doesnt work and when that goes, the whole thing shuts down.
