A Good Way to Start Back into an Exercise Routine.
The ProForm 230 Upright Cycle is a good stationary cycle for those looking to get back into or start a new exercise routine. The set up and adjustments on this cycle are easy to do. Also, it does not take up a lot of floor space so can be kept in the living room, family room or bedroom without it overpowering the room with its presence. The readout on the screen is easy to read and rotates through the different settings and feedback information, such as time and distance, often enough. There are no pre-programmed exercise modules, so you are on your own in varying the intensity of your workout. If you want to peddle with extra intensity or speed, the bike will start to wobble a little - that's its biggest drawback. Also, if you are a larger person the seat would not be very comfortable for you. I have used mine while watching TV shows and reading for more of a low paced, low intensity work out.
