This online flower seller does not provide the quality that their Web site pretends to offer its customers. My wife and I ordered an amazing looking arrangement of flowers for my 70-year-old mother-in-law for Mother's Day and we were so excited in anticipation of the delivery to her. Well, wouldn't you know it, the phone call that we received from her immediately following the arrival of the flowers was quite sad indeed. She informed us that she had just unpacked the UPS delivery and that the flowers were completely limp, could not stand on their own whatsoever, and also, that the irises were buds only, not a single flower showing as being fresh or robust with life in the arrangement. She then proceeded to let us know that we should call this flower business and try to get a refund. The next statement from her was the one that broke my spirit completely......she said that we were very sweet to try and send something so thoughtful and that it was really "the thought that mattered." Needless to say, when we called ProFlowers 20 minutes after the delivery was made, they let us know that their irises always come as buds and that tulips naturally don't stand on their own. Wow, what else could we say but please refund our money paid because the ProFlowers Web site in no way says that what you are purchasing in their arrangements are buds and limp flowers that require in essence an ICU type setting to try to nurse them back to some semblance of life before they die completely. They refunded our money after stating that we obviously did not know how different types of flowers work, and I can state with 100% certainty that we will never use their company again for flowers!
