I ordered 3 bouquets to be delivered to three different people for Mother's Day 2008. The first bouquet arrived and I was told that the flowers were "not in the best shape". The next day my second bouquet was delivered and I was told that the flowers were half dead and were delivered by FedEx and that they definitely were not worth whatever I had paid for them. I was extremely upset as they had been delivered to my mother. I called customer service and the woman was very nice and apologetic and said that another bouquet would be delivered the following day. They were. This time they were not quite as bad, but very obviously would not last a week as promised. The roses were brown edged and the flowers in full bloom. My third bouquet arrived at my grandmother's and was in very bad shape as well. I once again called customer service (VERY upset at this point) and once again I was treated courteously and I was offered the option of sending out another bouquet or something different. This time I chose a flowering plant. My grandmother received the plant and said it was really pretty and she was very happy with it. YAY!!! I have ordered once or twice before from ProFlowers and was pleased, so I am not exactly sure what happened this holiday. I was very disappointed and I will probably not order from them again. Sale price does not mean shoddy merchandise. Oh well. Customer service, however, was GREAT!
