Sapphire Princess/Mexican Riviera
We took this trip in April 2006. I am used to the Carribean being warm in April. The first 2 days on this cruise were very cold. So cold that no one was out on the deck. About late afternoon on the 2nd day, we finally got south enough for it to warm up and it was great until we headed back. The last day was cold again. I loved the Mexican destinations, but I'm not sure if I would cruise this itinerary again because of the cold days. To me a vacation should be warm and sunny!

read full review »Due to the whole Swine Flu outbreak, Princess Cruises was "obligated" to cancel all stops in Mexico. I don't understand why the money hungry cruise line couldn't just accomodate passengers that DO NOT like the itinerary changes and give them the option to go on a Mexican Riviera some other time...instead now I'm stuck with going on a cruise that I don't agree on and all because of the Passage Contract and Princess' rights to change ports without refunds.
I urge everyone to boycott or at least think twice before choosing to travel with Princess Cruise line. Clearly they are out to cover themselves...
