not rich, appreciative of good service, budget-conscious traveler, love to travel, laid-back, lover of cruises, willing to pay for quality

Princess Cruises - Sapphire Princess —

The cruise to Alaska has chances for everyone to try something new. I learned to hustle, cha-cha, saw a whale, and ate salmon roe, in one day alone. If you are lookng for lots of night life, Alaska is not your destination as this destination skews older. We were among the youngsters on the ship and we are in our 30's. The people working on the ship are fantastic, calling us by name after just one introduction and willing to take the time to answer nosy questions about their homeland. In addition, if you hate crowds and need to get away for some quiet, reflection, the bar at the top of the ship is often completely empty in the morning and afternoon, but there is still bar service available.
