Most HelpfulGrand Princess - 12 Day Mediterranean Cruise departing Civitavecchia on 9/11/08: This was our 40th wedding annv. cruise and 2nd on the Princess line. Can't understand how this ship gets in general great ratings. This was a terrible ship, laundermats out of service for 12 days, foul tasting water,...
read full review »Grand Princess is a beautiful ship however it is not meant for families. If you're looking for a great cruise experience and you're retired, go on this ship. It's more seen as an older cruise line just like Holland America is. Although it has a game room for the kids, it really is not a great cruise for many activities. read full review »As a long time Princess cruiser, I have to say I love this ship. It was a little big at times, but it had plenty of cozy corners to get away. We always found something fun to do (or good to eat!) and found ourselves back on the ship again recently. We've never had a bad eperience with Princess. We just love them!
Princess Cruises - Grand Princess - ship is not that fab for the size of it.
Royal Carribean and Celebrity do better with the big ships.
