Cruise was amazing, sights and wildlife were more than we expected. This was our first cruise with Princess. Prior to Princess we had taken 3 Carnival cruises and 1 Holland America cruise. The food on the Coral Princess was the best food we ever had on a cruise boat; however, the service and staff were the least friendly. Shows and entertainment were okay, nothing spectacular, but worth seeing. Room service was not free, there was a "trip" fee of $3 or $4, which we thought was ridiculous. While the service was below average to say the least, there were way too many employees in the buffet...
read full review »My Princess Cruise, on the Coral Princess, was the best trip I ever took. I felt so comfortable and stress free that I didn't want to leave. The food was excellent. Every staff member I encountered was perfect in every way, and the ship was awesome.
After a year of saving and a year of marriage, my husband and I were finally able to take our honeymoon. It was a dream vacation of a cruise to Alaska. We went the second week in September which was the last cruise for the season. This was my first cruise and I was a little nervous. The Princess Coral was around 96 tons and held 2000 passengers. I was concerned about what I would do all day long. Since it was Sept. and we were going to Alaska, I didn't think I'd be sitting by a pool all day! I was right about that. However, there was still plenty to do.
