My favorite book is Rick Bragg's "All Over but the Shoutin,'" so I was excited to get his latest book "Price of Frogtown" for Christmas. The fact that it's taken this long to read a book I had really wanted bad is a clear indication that it's not a great book.

In Prince of Frogtown, Rick Bragg continues to tell the story of his East Alabama family history.

 In this novel he focuses on the struggle he has as he develops into the father he now is. He documents how he feels unprepared to father the child who has come into his life, as this child is the polar opposite of his childhood experiences.
