Daniel Silva is a terrific writer and definitely knows how to get readers involved in the storyline.  It has been a long time since I found a writer who can make me miss a recurring character until their next book comes out.  I have only two more Daniel Silva books left before I need an new one to quench my thirst but I am willing to wait.  The characters are true to their roots and Mr. Silva stays with the same backgrounds and characters in most of his books which makes for smooth transitions and keeping up with the plots and people involved.  Suspenseful and detailed, you lean about the different... read full review »

Read the entire series, the books follow the exploits of Gabriel Allon, an Isrealie agent who uses his career as an art restorer as a cover.  The series gives you an insight into the nature of the entire middle east conflict, and the mindset of the Isrealies.
