Daniel Silva is a terrific writer and definitely knows how to get readers involved in the storyline.  It has been a long time since I found a writer who can make me miss a recurring character until their next book comes out.  I have only two more Daniel Silva books left before I need an new one to quench my thirst but I am willing to wait.  The characters are true to their roots and Mr. Silva stays with the same backgrounds and characters in most of his books which makes for smooth transitions and keeping up with the plots and people involved.  Suspenseful and detailed, you lean about the different places the characters travel to without feeing like certain ideas/cultures are being forced on you.  Terrific reads!!
