Prilosec OTC Review

OK, I had a severe attack of heartburn this morning, and luckily for me, I could reach for my little Prilosec tab to ease the awful pain.  I probably only have heartburn one or maybe two times a month, but when I do, it is severe.

After taking this over the counter med, the pain is gone in less than 10 minutes.  I have never had an episode that Prilosec didn't handle.  Therefore, I can truly say that I rely on Prilosec to ease the pain, and I keep it handy in my bathroom cabinet as well as on my office desk.

It is a little pricey for a package, but then I only have to take it once or twice a month, so a package lasts me a long while.  Woe is me if I am away from home and don't have any in my purse. 

I have to agree with the reviewer who wrote about how difficult it is to get the dosage out of the foil packets it comes in.  You have to try to peel away a layer of paper and then punch the pill out of a foil packet.  I wish they would just put it in a bottle!!!  And, I think I will send them an email to let them know how frustrating this can be.

All in all, I love this med and would recommend it to anyone who suffers from heartburn.
