Prilosec OTC Review

I have suffered with GERD for years.  I have tried many prescriptions and over the counter medication and Prilosec over the counter is the only drug that has helped me,  I have tried many other over the counter medications and I would have to take like two - three pills a day and would still have heartburn.  I was not able to take Prilosec when I was pregnant and I never got rid of my heartburn the whole nine months.  I was looking forward to being able to take that over anything.  The only complaint is that the OTC is more expensive than the prescription version for those that have insurance.
