Prilosec OTC Review

Several years ago my husband began suffering from pains in his chest area.  Not being sure of what this new burning pain in his chest was, he made an appointment with his doctor and was taken in right away.  His doctor diagnosed him with having Acid Reflux disease.  He prescribed him a very expensive medicine that he would have to take for the rest of his life.  After checking with or insurance company and finding out that they would not cover the expense of that prescription, his doctor advised him to try Prilosec OTC to see if it would help.  Well, thank goodness it did.  It began to work in about 10 days or so and he has gone from taking it every day to taking it every few days.  This medicine is awesome and heaven sent.  He very rarely suffers from that terrible pain in his chest that had us both so scared.  It's simple to use. Just take one tablet with water every morning.  Don't chew or crush the tablet.  It is a delayed release tablet and acid reducer.  Don't take it for more than 14 days unless you are told by your doctor.  This is an OTC that acid sufferers can't live without.
