Prilosec OTC Review

I,at one point was a nurse and single mother. Needless to say,I, was severely stressed out. Anyway ,I ,ended up in hospital and a bleeding ulcer! Prilosec,at this time was a new medication,and no generic was yet available,so my physician prescribed this in the hospital and for everyday use for home,recovering, and thereafter. The Prilosec not only aided in healing my ulcer but stopped reflux,and indigestion.To this day,I, remain taking this,now generic is available called,Omeprazole. Now mind you this was safe for me,but please please,CHECK WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN,as you need liver function test on a regular basis. This is done via a blood test.I,personally prefer this medication,which is now available OTC:over the counter!But,I,can not stress enough to check with your physician first,and get a regular annual:yearly physical please.That all being said check it out for yourself and let us all know your opinion,too.
