Pride and Prejudice Review

I have read Pride and Prejudice twice and seeing this movie brought the book to life.  For the short length of the movie, they did a very good job of keeping to the story.  It helps that they had an amazing story to work with. The costumes and sets were wonderful. I loved how it had a realistic feel.  It wasn't all neat, clean and bright. The dancing was fun to watch. There is also many sweet details to catch, such as the way Darcy flexes his hand or the look in Darcy and Lizzy's eyes when they look at one another.

This is a movie that can be enjoyed by all ages.  There is nothing that a parent would have to worry about a child seeing.  How often does that happen in a romantic movie in this day and age? 

 I have always had a hard time picking a "favorite" movie, but this is hands down my favorite classic book-to-movie.  I must admit that I almost cry every time I see the ending.  I can watch this movie over and over.
