Priceline Review

Lately I had a very bad experience with priceline.com. I bid on hotels in some area I am going to for vacation, unfortunately the result of my bid turns out to be a hotel which is not listed on the website within that certain area. When I call their custom service to try to make some change, they actually tell me a shocking news that the list on their website is a just sample list, they actually have their own list of hotels which no customer can see. If you bid on it, you may get a hotel you never see on their website, or even a crappy one which doesn't meet the requirement from your bid. As for me, I was bidding on a 3 star hotel, I ended up with a hotel not shown on their list, which is actually 2 and ½ star and outside the area I selected. I was also surprised about their policy of talking to customer, because their customer relationship specialist tried to hang up on me.

So after all these unforgettable experience I decided to inform everyone that, quote "the list of the hotel from our website is only a sample list." ( from their customer relationship specialist). Please be aware of this before you choose priceline to bid on anything.
