Pretty Feet & Hands Rough Skin Remover is NOT a lotion.

4

Pretty Feet & Hands Rough Skin Remover is NOT a lotion. If you think it is a lotion and purchase it thinking that, you will probably be disappointed. A friend of mine bought it and thought she would just rub it on her feet and her feet would be softer. But it really isn't a lotion per se. I see it more as a cream-based exfoliant. The scent is pleasant and nice. It smells a little bit medicinal, but not overpowering or objectionable. Also, you would not be using this on your face, so the scent is not quite as critical as with a facial product. It DOES remove dead skin. As I rubbed it in, dead skin kind of "sloughed" off. It is a little messy, but it does the job. I have found best results by using this product on my feet before I take a shower. My sequence is to rub it on my feet to remove rough, dead skin. Then I take a shower to wash it off. Then I use one of my favorite moisturizers and my feet really do feel softer than if I had only used my moisturizer. The bottom line on this product is that it does work to remove dead, rough skin. It just isn't ideal as a moisturizer.

Kind of gross

I have to admit, the Pretty Feet & Hands Rough Skin Remover DOES work and helped get rid of the rough skin from my elbows, hands, feet, etc. However, I gave this remover an overall rating of 7 because I didn't like the process of getting rid of the lotion. For some reason, a lot of white flakes (probably dead skin cells) started to fall off my skin whenever I tried to remove it and it just looked so disgusting.

Gets rid of dry skin fast

Several years ago, my mom had me try this, but she didn't really warn me about what would happen when I used it. I was very surprised when I started to rub it on my hands because some little pieces of something started to fall off of my hands. I didn't have a clue what was happening, so I thought it was quite weird. After I asked her what it was, I figured out that it was dry skin coming off! The next day I went out to buy some of my own. The price was quite expensive and it's a very small bottle, but its worth it! It's kind of like a lotion, but it's very watery. All you have to do is rub it in and the dry skin starts falling off. I would recommend doing it in the bath or over a sink because it gets messy and you will want to rinse your hands off afterwards. When your done your hands are very smooth and free of dry skin! Since it's called pretty hands and feet, I assume it's meant only for your hands and feet, but I use it on my legs, arms, stomach and face too! There really isn't much of a scent, so that's not bothersome. The only complaint I have is the fact that I can't find it in stores anymore. I can still order it online, but walmart and the other stores around don't sell it anymore.

Pretty Hands and Feet Not-So-Pretty

1

Trying to save some money, I decided to try Pretty Hands and Feet Rough Skin Remover to get rid of the rough skin on my feet instead of going to get a pedicure. It feels nice and cooling when you rub it on your skin and it does have a pleasant smell, however, it is gross to get off of your skin. You have to basically rub the area you applied the cream to really hard and fast and, hopefully, the skin comes off. You have to do this over the tub or a garbage can, because the dead skin, in addition to the dried up cream, really makes a mess. It is just kind of gross. I had to vacuum the bathroom and clean out the tub when I was done using this. I would rather go get a pedicure -even if it means spending more money. It would be worth it just not to have te mess. And, after all that work, my feet were not really that smooth. You would definately spend less buying this product, but there is so much effort you have to put in to get the job done, I would rather just go get the pedicure! I would definately not recommend this product!

This product easily and gently removes dry flaking skin from hands and feet, leaving them soft and smooth.  No harsh chemicals to harm tender skin.  I also use it on my elbows and knees.  My daughters also use and love this product.  Just massage into skin, rinse away and apply moisturizurer.
