It has a butter warmer to add melted butter if you choose to, but reviewers find it either needs to start at room temperature or be sliced thinly to work well. Presto PopLite Popcorn Maker makes movie night memories

My childhood memories include family popcorn nights, so was excited about having the same experiences in an even easier way!
The Presto PopLite Popcorn Maker seemed like the best choice to experience those memories again!
Overall it is a good product, but as others have said, it throws unpopped kernals out of the bowl at times and butter doesnt always melt easily! You pretty much have to stand attending it the whole time you are using it...but what else is there to do when making popcorn anyway right? :-)

Easy to use popcorn maker, with or without additives

I love popcorn, especially when freshly popped and warm. The Presto PopLite pops most of the kernals and I can make it plain, add herbal sprinkles or add a flavored butter. It does have a tendency to throw the popcorn beyond the bowl, so I make a shield. I find the butter has to be room temperature to melt in the little tray. it works fairly quickly and does makes a bit of noise. I use mine regularly for movie night at home.

air popper for popcorn is fast and quick. I found the small kernals don't pop.

they are blown out of the popper.

I've used a Presto PopLite popcorn popper for a few years now, ever since my original hot air popper (I forget what brand that one was, but it served me for about 20 years) finally bit the dust after many years. So far, it looks like this one is proving just as reliable. Since this wasn't very expensive to begin with, I feel like I've gotten a bargain.

I recieved my Presto Popcorn maker for a christmas gift and we are big popcorn eaters and It is wounderful. My kids use it alot. Because you can put toppings on any way you like them they like the spray butter and the cheese spread on theres. My little pup likes the popcorn to. With the Presto Popcorn maker there is little to no clean up with it because it is air popped. It is very easy to help count caliories if you are on a diet due to no other additives in the popping process. The price is good not expensive to buy. My family loves popcorn! We used to eat the microwave popcorn until I started reading labels. The junk that goes into microwave popcorn is appalling! So we looked at the alternatives and chose a Presto PopLite Popcorn Maker. This popcorn maker is an air-popper! We love it! It keeps a healthy snack healthy! You can eat as-is or add your own toppings. So for people who want a healthy alternative to microwave popcorn, here it is. It is almost as fast as microwaving and the popcorn just tastes better.

Better than I expectied

I purchased this air popper a few weeks ago. I love popcorn but the calories and fat in microwave popcorn were literally killing me. This popper works great. Even the cheapest corn from Walmart comes out ight and fluffy. The butter warmer sits on top of the popper. If you want butter, you have to slice it very thinly or it won't melt. I'm avoiding butter and salt so it's not a problem for me.

i love using this popcorn maker, it is easy quite efficient, and fun to use. I am a popcorn lover, and used to make it on the stove, then I moved up and started using the microwave, but now I use this and it makes my popcorn life so much easier. If you want all of your kernals to be popped to a nice, fat piece of corn, then this Poplite popcorn maker is going to definately be for you.

This popcorn popper has been an asset over the years. It works very well just don't put a metal bowl under it! That would have to be the only drawback. Otherwise it is very sturdy, reliable and you don't end up with burnt popcorn like with the microwave stuff sometimes. I would have to give the PopLite Popcorn Maker from Pesto a great review.

The presto popcorn maker is the best. My kids love it more then microwaveable popcorn. This popcorn is more like the old fashion way and taste just like movie popcorn. We use just plain old popcorn and everyone adds their own toppings of their choose. We use it twice aa week for movie night. It is very easy for kids to use it and they love it.
