Be very cautious when using this drug. My doctor perscribed for me close to three years ago. He insisted that we give it the full 4-6 weeks to get into my system. However after only two days I was unable to get out of bed with this medication. Instead of helping with my depression it made it extremly worse. Within a week it was impossible to accomplish daily life chores or go to work. I began to pass out and had other physical symptoms like falling alseep at my desk and being unable to get out of bed in the morning (severe muscle fatigue). I have suffered from migraines for many years, and been on several different medications for them. I was on Imitrex for quite a bit of that time, and then it started not working for me. I would get "rebound" headaches a few hours or later in the day after I took the medication. At that time I was still working as a nurse, so this was not something that was good for me, so my neurologist started me on Relpax. The good-- — I have three beautiful children from 6 years to 9 months. All are on high doses of Prevacid for GERD, but their reflux is controlled well. — I sprinkle the contents of the capsules over applesauce twice a day for each of them. After taking the medicine, the kids can actually eat without pain about 30-60 minutes later. Restless leg syndrome, Mirapex does work. It is a prescription medicine, but it is worthwhile to ask your doctor about it.. For severe RLS it does work just watch the other meds you are on .. Trazodone really works. It has other uses but I use it for insomnia. I have tried over the counter drugs, homeopathic route none of them worked for me. My doctor put me on Trazodone and my goodness it works , no side effects, no drowsiness in the morning, no hallucinations or sleep walking just a perfect night sleep whether it is four hours or six to eight hours it works. Topamax

I will never take Topamax again.

My doctor prescribed Topamax because I was getting terrible migraines and also needed to lose some extra weight. Topamax was great at controlling migraines but I hated the side effects. I found myself forgetting how to say the simplest of words. As a graduate student, this was embarrassing in class when I had to do presentations. I could look at a word, know what it meant but completely forget the pronunciation and these were easy words like "absolutely" and "realistic". I became very forgetful and depressed. I read lots of reviews on other sites too about Wellbutrin and after my depression came back I decided to ask my doctor if I can try it.(Before I was on Zoloft and than Lexapro, but either they stopped to work or I put on so much weight and lost my sex drive, I stopped taking it.) Warning for all. My 17 year old daughter was given this medication in February 2008 to help in the prevention of her migraines. In a couple of days her entire personality changed, she was rude to us, shut herself in her room and all her mostly A's took a nose dive at school.
