I hate getting hemorrhoids. Not only is it kind of embarrassing but they are also PAINFUL! I love Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Cooling Gel. I keep a tube of it in my medicine cabinet at all times. I have found that it is one of the best products for providing relief from the burning and itching associated with hemorrhoids. Although I am only 23, I have been getting hemorrhoids since I was 18 years old. This gel is one product I have found that works the best. You simply apply it to the area and you instantly get relief. Many times when I get bad hemorrhoids I have difficulty with bowel movements due to pain and swelling, but when I use this product I am able to go without a problem. After a few days of using the gel I notice my hemorrhoids start to shrink. This is seriously a life saver! I highly recommend this product if you suffer from hemorrhoids. If you suffer from internal hemorrhoid's, Preparation H Cooling Gel is absolutely the best over the counter product for treating this condition. Other products such as creams can not be applied internally, and do not help heal the tissue. Suppositories are helpful, but do not naturally heal the scarring tissue. Preparation H cooling gel has aloe vera gel, which is safer to use internally than other cream applicants. Aloe vera gel also has natural healing qualities which prevent the build up of scar tissue, which can occur from long term internal hemmorrhoidal conditions. I've recently begun to suffer from the effects of long term, untreated internal hemmorrhoids and it is a extremely painful and highly embarrassing situation to deal with. Other products such as Zinc oxide are useful also, but work best when applied to surficial tissue areas, and not to the internal, inflammed tissue. My recommendation is to use Zinc Oxide externally, and apply cooling Gel internally.

I have discovered an EXCELLENT use for this traditionally bottom cream. If you are like me and getting a bit older with some sagging tissue under the eyes, then open up a new tube expecially for this purpose and use it to help shrink the appearance of those little bags that make us look old. I have found that by putting a bit of this cooling Prep H under my eyes (use sparingly) it really does reduce the swollen, sagging appearance of those pesky bags. I have made this a part of my daily routine for over 3 years now and have taken years off my looks by doing so. It seems that the reduction in size of the tissue is evident and I won't give it up now. I also love the cooling affect it has on that tissue. It gives a moment of satisfaction that really feels good! I wouldn't start my day without some Prep H to my lower lids and my StriVectin. Girls, give this a try. It is embarrassing to admit you have these little things, but obviously I am not the only one or they wouldn't market so many things to help relieve the 'roids! When they are really inflammed I d soak in a very warm tub and that helps some and then I put the cooling gel on and between the two it generally relieve the burning. I haven't found relief for the itching except just soaking. I have heard people use this under their eyes o shrink the bags under them, but  don't think I would want to use this clos tomy eyes, especially if the tube has already been at the other end! Do keep it on hand for minor irritations.  Be sure to keep the are very clean, that helps a lot too. This will definite relieve the minor and  I do mean minor burning. Anything untolerable....see you doctor. It make be embarrassing, but your is not the first hiney they have seen...trust me! They have some really great prescription things if this doesn't work and then you can sit comfortable again!

Preparation H Hemmoridal Cooling Gel works when you have a flare up of Hemmoids.  It is relatively inexpensive, very easy to apply and works quite quickly to sooth the burning and soreness.  I keep it on hand at all times as I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome and occasionally have problems with hemmeroids.  It does reduce the size of the hemmoroids but does take away the pain and discomfort in a short amount of time.  This gel does not have any side effects that I have experienced and I have found that a small amount of the gel goes a long way.  Preparation H Memmoridal Cooling Gel is inexpensive and lasts for a very long time.  I would advise checking the expiration date (as one should for all medications) as it works better if within those dates.  An added bonus it that it does not stain underwear as it is a clear gel.  I would recommend keeping it on hand for emergencies and instant relief.

The cooling gel contains the same vasoconstrictor that's in all the other preparation H formulas but this one is competely non-greasy and non-staining.  It also has no odor.  It has all the advantages of the other Preparation H products with none of the drawbacks.

Preparation H is a much needed medicine in our household and we have used it for many, many years now. My husband decided to pick up the Preparation H Cooling Gel instead of the regular Preparation H we were used to buying. Now we swear by the Cooling Gel and it has relieved the flare-ups he has on and off. This product performs as it says it does on the box and was actually recommended by my husband's doctor. It is easy to use and brings relief quicker than the regular Preparation H we have been buying for years. The only probably downside to this product is its cost. This product cost about as much as its regular counterpart, and can be a bit costly for some, but for those who are chronic sufferers, you should try this Preparation H Cooling Gel if instant relief and comfort are what you are looking for. However, it will not cure hemorrhoids as it is a chronic condition and must be treated with all caution and care.  I would recommend this product to anyone suffering from hemorrhoid flare-ups.

Preparation H is a great product.  If you suffer from hemorrhoid's then this product should always be in your medicine cabinet.  Although this is embarrassing, I want others to understand how effective this product is.  Growing up I always suffer from constipation and straining and from an early age I was diagnosed with hemorrhoid.  It is very painful. I always am searching for effective product. I started using this product three years ago and since then I hardly have the problem.  Besides, changing my diet, this product is a real help.  It does cool on contact and immediately eliminates any uncomfortable pain or itchiness.  In addition, it does not carry any odor so you don't have to worry about any smell and no residue.  My only problem with it is that is melts easily if not stored in a cool place, so inside the medicine cabinet or bathroom isn't an ideal place to store it.  The best place although not sanitized place is another a very cool place like a refrigerator where it wont melt.  I don't but recommend it, just place it in  container and that should work.
