I really enjoy using the elliptical. You can choose from many events and up to 20 levels. I vary mine and really like to compare the calories I burn doing the various things. I may start with manual and do several levels, then do climbing at serveral levels, and then weight loss.
Another nice feature is that it will take you heart rate if you put your hands on the pad. When you aren't doing that, you can move your hands back and forth as if you were walking.
The variety makes this enjoyable. You can set it up to one hour. I usually do it in 20 minute segments. It defaults to the 20 minute segment. You have to use the up down arrow to make it longer.
The thing I do not like about it is that when you set the program you want, it posts a weight of 150 pounds and you have to arrow down to your weight. I only goes 1 pound at a time and that takes a while to get to my weightl. It also does the same thing for age. It starts at 20 something and you have to arrow up 1 year at a time. I am 61 and that takes a while. I wish you could just put in your weight and your age and not have to go through the arrow.
