Bottom-Line: Post Trail Mix Crunch (Raisins & Almonds); it's what's for breakfast.

There is something particularly appealing about the taste of Post Trail Mix Crunch (Raisin & Almond); indeed it is a complex cereal; a combination of lightly crunchy nuggets, granola, raisins, almonds, and a touch of honey.  And the best thing about the wholesome crunchy combination in the 17oz multi-colored box is that it stays crunchy in milk long after it's poured.

And perhaps that is the appeal of the cereal; it is low in fat (2.5 grams per serving), sugar (10 grams per serving), but high in dietary fiber (5 grams per serving).  The taste is complex and delicious, sweet, yet still good for you.  Like I mentioned above, I like to mix it with other cereals using Corn Flakes or Honey Bunches of Oats as a base.  I fill the bowl two thirds of the way with the golden flakes and then smash them with my hand, then pour in Post Trail Mix Crunch cereal, add additional fruit (bananas or strawberries) and 2% milk, not skim, never skim, always 2 percent.

To me Post Trail Mix Crunch (Raisin & Almond) will always represent breakfast American style though a box can be hard to come by; I buy mine at Super Target or the local Jewel Osco grocery store.  Other local grocery stores in the Chicagoland area may, or may not have the cereal on the shelves in the cereal aisle.  Post Trail Mix Crunch (Raisin & Almond); it's what's for breakfast.

Prune juice, brings back horrible, horrible memories of nights spent at dear old grandma's house. Great review, though!!!
