Portable Sound Laboratories - iMainGo2 Review

iMainGo2 has to be one of the hottest speakers available!  This ultra-portable speaker system is perfect for my iPhone.  It also works great with any iPod generation and most MP3 players.  Did I mention that the sound quality is amazing?!  You'd think you bought some fancy, expensive speaker system.  I only ended up paying $40 for my iMainGo2!

It only weighs 9 oz. and is a compact case, making it easy to just throw in my beach bag and go, without taking too much space.  A perk that I love is it protected my iPhone from the sand at the beach!  I didn't even have to unzip the case to control my iPhone.  The case has a heat sensitive plastic window, which makes it easy to control your device.

To use the iMainGo2, just unzip the case, install your iPod, iPhone, or your MP3 player, and face the front of your player towards the plastic window.  For users who have a smaller device, like the iPod Nano, the iMainGo2 comes with a memory foam that helps keep your player snugged.  A velcro strap helps to keep your device in place, and there's a stereo plug that you connect to your players headphone jack to play your music through the speakers.

The iMainGo2 has three power functions: Off/On/Alarm.  The Alarm function allows you to wake up in the morning to your favorite tune by setting up your iPod's alarm.  A neat little tip I found out is to place the power switch in alarm mode to conserve the iMainGo's battery life.  If you were to forget to turn off your iMainGo, the alarm mode doesn't drain the devices batteries.  All it requires is 4 AAA batteries and it says it has a battery life of up to 30 hours!

I've used my iMainGo on many trips to the beach, vacations at the lake, camping trips, even just lounging by the pool.  My friends were so envious of my iMainGo2 that they all bought one for themselves!  I definitely recommend buying the iMainGo2 if your looking for a portable audio device!
