Amazing ease of speed and handling
Still great after 5K miles, Safety conscious, concerned about safety, value conscious, interested in comfort, noticing the details, informed, looking for durability

Goes fast, fast, stops fast and turns fast. These are the basic ingredients for a sports car and the 2008 Turbo Cab provides them all with grace and style. The GPS is a bit clunky to use  and the car should have a built in MP3 plug but it didn't There is an after market one that works fine. Other than that all you need is the thick steering wheel, the sportt adaptive seats and the chrono package. Sure you can dress it up with a lot of carbon, the hard top and ceramic breaks. Not much need for these on my part. If you plan to race get the coupe or a GT2 or 3. If you want a great fun superb handling... review »

997 - A supercar for the everday driver

the Porsche 911 / 997 is really one of the best supercar for everyday drivers.  The quality gone into making these cars is truly unique.  I have a 2005 997 C2 and have not had a single problem with the car since I purchased it.  I have never owned a supercar which did not require any real scheduled maintenance for the first 20,000 miles outside of an oil change.   Daily enjoyment without the daily draw on the pocketbook.

I had other choices when choosing a car. It was either the 911, corvette z06, and the lexus isf.
It was a tough decision but I have no regrets. This car is money well spent.
