Ater owning approximately six or seven sets of mid to high end speakers over the past 17 years, the Polk RTi8 floor standing speakers have to rate among he best of the bunch! I've paid more as much as three times the cost of the RTi8 and not been as satisfied. Very low distortion, great frequency response, exceptional mid and low range sound and clean, honest, undistorted bass! The Polk Power Port technology really delivers everything it promises; and the Polk ARC delivers terrific natural sound. I use these speakers in a basic two channel set-up aside from the 5.1 channel arrangement in my home theatre system, and I wouldn't think of replacing them with any other speakers, including some much more expensive higher end speakers. The compare very favorably with my Def Tech home theatre speakers! Do yourself a favor by saving a significant amount of money and getting a great set of speakers in the Polk RTi8!
