A great nail salon in a thoroughly modern and tasteful atmospher

Polished is a great nail salon in a new shopping area of Smyrna, Ga at I-285 & Atlanta Road. I was so pleased with the decor. It reminds me of great items from a new catalog I have been receiving. The salon has a very classy feel and I can see it being located in many first class and resort areas.

Of course, atmosphere isn't everything in a nail salon. The music was great and we were offered water or soda as we enjoyed our foot soak from a very cool bench with beautiful back pillow. Our feet were resting comfortably in their own mini tub.

I have been to Polished three times as it is close to where I live. One of those times, I took my mother in law to treat her.  The decor was very upmarket but the gum-chewing woman who did my feet on those three occasions drove me insane.  She was looking over her shoulders every 30 seconds -- was she expecting the FBI?

It was very unnerving and the constant smack, smack, smack of her jaw was just too much.  I have mani/pedis monthly and this is not the place to go regularly.  It's just too expensive for your maintenance treatments. I haven't been back for several months, so perhaps the gum-chewer...
