I would not recommend buying this t.v. my girlfriend bought 2 of these and gave one to me.mine broke within 3 months. Hers broke about 6 months later. Polaroid sent a technician he attempted to repair it twice, but was unsuccessful.I had to call Polaroid over and over for months to try to get a refund. My girlfriends t.v. broke about 7 months later.

In response to NeverAgain's comment from Jun 3, 2008 at 8:28AM:

You might check the electrolytics on the power supply board. If they have vented, you should be able to restore the set by replacing them. Should be under $10.00 in parts for each of your tv's.

Sadly, it's sort of a bad problem that Polaroid refuses to address ! I purchased two FLM 323B receivers in early 2007. Both now have power supply failures (cost me $50 each for diagnosis) and Polaroid says "Too Bad..... they're out of waranty". Repair cost for each set (from two authorized Polaroid repair techs) was $675 each !! So, I'll never buy another Polaroid product again. Just "Google" reviews for the 323B and you'll discover that there are many, many, many customers having the same problmes as I.

I am confused here, first you say hers broke 6 months after yours, then that hers broke 7 months later. Which is it 9 or 7 months? Also tv's have a 1 year warranty (most do anyway) So you should be able to get both fixed or replaced.
