I owe Plenty of Fish a big thank you! I found Mr. Right only a few days after posting and perfecting my profile on this free online dating site. I was skeptical. I had never tried anything like this before, but I also knew that walking into a bar was not the way to find the kind of man I was looking for. Nor could I hand around a bookstore or art museum and flag down good-looking guys to ask them if they were available, thought I was cute and would like to date someone with two kids.

I was very specific in my Plenty of Fish profile. Sure, I got some interesting people contacting me at first. Some were flattering and some were on the verge of scary. It was just a matter of days though before a wonderful man contacted me and I knew from the beginning that he wasn't anything like the rest of the fish in the see. We hit it off instantly. We have so much in common, from our core values to our musical tastes and yes, he does think I'm cute and he is excited about being a part of mine and my kid's lives.

My advice for someone looking for a new partner in life is to join Plenty of Fish, be very specific in your profile about what you like, what you want and what you don't want. Only respond to people whom are respectful and tactfully let them down easy if they aren't the right one. If you don't try, you'll never know if the right person is out through floating around on their own waiting for you too.
