Most HelpfulWe have two cats and therefore have cat hair everywhere. We picked up a Pledge Fabric Sweeper to see if it could beat back some of the cat hair and it works like a charm. However, it has a near-fatal flaw for which there is a slightly awkward work-around. We paid around $5 with a coupon.
What it is
Most HelpfulAs the owner of dogs...I am constantly using a lint roller and/or a vacuum to pick up after my pets. We constantly have hair on the furniture, carpets, inside our cars, etc. I saw these Pledge fabric sweepers at the store and decided to buy a package (2 come in a package) for $8 (on sale). I thought...
read full review »Being a Bzz Agent I get to try out some fun stuff. I signed up for the Pledge Fabric Sweeper. It picks up fur with just a few sweeps.
I let the girls (my medium fur cats) shed on their cat condo until the sweeper arrived. This sweeper really picked up the fur quick and easy. Scrappy (older cat) even loved to have it rubbed on her back.
Not only did it pick up the fur easy with a few swipes back and forth, but when I tried it on my "newish" couch I found it even took care of the nubbies that were starting to show up and it looks like new again (yippy).
It sells for around $5.99 and they say...
read full review »At last! Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair has arrived in my local Walgreen's. For anyone with three shedding animals, the advance ads and coupons (which I lost while waiting) raised tremendous anticipation.
So did dmlichnerowicz's review in which she countered S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc.'s "... throw the sweeper away when... full" directions of with her own instructions on how to take the dual rollers out, clean them, then replace them for another go-round.
S. C. Johnson & Son has gone very public with its GREEN-ness, an impressive use of solar, for example, reducing Johnson's energy...
read full review »the only reason i bought this for the first time was because i had a coupon for a free one. i mean, really, how ground-breaking could it be?
i have to admit, i was thoroughly impressed. i ran it across the cushion of the "cat's chair" and it picked everything up with minimal effort. the fur, the dander, the bits of everything that cats seem to leave in their favorite resting place was gone. and the fur was pretty thick as i tend to just ignore that chair. and after the first intense cleaning, i would just swipe it over the surface a few times for easy maintenance. so much easier than...
read full review »As a busy mom with two great dogs and one large cat, I am always on the hunt for pet hair removal products that really work. I was recently introduced to a new product by Pledge, called the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair. This is a handheld pet hair removal product that does not require batteries or electricity. The best news? IT WORKS! The better news? IT'S CHEAP!
Here's how it works:
Simply move the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair back in forth in a side to side motion, and watch as the two rollers underneath grab, lift, and trap pet hair inside. That's all there is to it! ...
read full review »Having tried tape rollers, vacuuming with a hand vac and upright vac, and picking cat hair off my black chairs by hand, all to no avail, a friend who has 5 indoor pets recommended this product. I am amazed at how well the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair works. It's idiot-proof to use...just sweep from side to side. If it doesn't pick up every stray hair, changing the direction you sweep gets the last few. While it is supposedly a disposable tool, the rollers on the underside can be gently popped off, the hair removed, and reused. If you choose not to reuse the product, it's still...

I was a bit sceptacle at first. The unit has two loop fabric rollers that are about 7" long. The rollers are attached to a clear plastic dome. You operate the unit by sweepting it from side to side in short strokes. One roller picks up hair and lint then when you reverse the motion, the second roller clears off the first roller and deposits the waste into the clear dome.
The Pet hair Sweeper worked well on some of my furniture, but did not work on furniture that was covered with lopped...
read full review »Seriously, why did it take the world so long to get this genius little tool? Works fabulous, no sticky residue like you get from the lint rollers. Two little secrets you are gonna love:
1. You can use this on your CLOTHES!
2. When it fills up, you can reach between the two grey rollers and pull out the hairball. I have 2 in the house, and have used one for over 6 months now (emptied 4 times!)
I have 3 dogs, so these is god hair everywhere, but ESPECIALLY in my clothes! I was smart, bought a couch that does not really attract hair all that badly. but my clothes! We had those little sticky...
read full review »I found the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair to be a nice alternative to the lint roller and other pet hair removers out on the market. I found a pack of three of these at my local wharehouse store (Costco) for just under ten dollars. We have two pets in our household who shed like crazy and I can never seem to get ahead of the pet hair no matter how much I clean. And the hand vac I use in between vacuuming never seems to get it all. Besides that I have tried everything from rolls and rolls of duct tape, to the famous lint rollers with the expensive refills to the special sponges and even the...
read full review »Upon checking out the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair at the WalMart Supercenter, I have come to the conclusion that this product has possibilities for me. Having 5 Jack Russell Terriers who do live inside with us, pet hair is a big problem. I cover furniture with sheets or old bedspreads, washing bi-weekly, if not more and vaccum not sweep. If one of the girls goes to town or if everyone has to go to the Vet, my mini-van becomes the "Hairy Van". We use sticky rollers on our clothes so we are presentable.
The Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair seems to be a great lightweight, easy to...
