Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair Review

If you're looking at this to be a great fabric sweeper with pets , don't wast your time!  I just adopted a yellow lab mix that sheds moderately in the last week and have have tried two of these and both have the same problems - the dual roller assembly doesn't work right (e.g. they don't roll in the manner in which they are designed for), so this device is basically useless!

Additionally, i wish this was designed to be reusable, but it's designed to be disposable.  For $5-6, this is a waste of money and a terrible impact on the environment.  While the top of the unit lookes to a #1 plastic (or PEET) and thus is recyclable if you want to rip the top off, the bottom is appears to be a non-recyclable #5 or #6 and the rollers are definitely not recycable.

When are company's going to get their heads our of their hind ends and make things that are intelligently designed, actually work and minimally impactful/zero impact on the environment???!!!  Argh!!!
