Pleasant Company Miniature American Girl Doll Collection Reviews

       The Miniature American Girl Dolls are just like the bigger versions and come in the clothes from their era in American History.  They are 61/2 inches tall, have plastic limbs, a torso made of fabric, and soft hair to be brushed. There are nine of them total in this set and girls with little hands may have more funcreating scenes and comflicts for them.  

       Individually, they are $19.99, but the whole set is $165.00. I don't think that the picture online or in the American Girl Catalogue does the little dolls justice, because they are much prettier to look at in person....

American Girl dolls are wonderful role models for little irls, but tend to be large and hard to carry for kids who like to bring their toys everywhere.

These dolls are PERFECT for toting around to the dentist, grocery store... practically anywhere you and your child need to go!

As an educator and doll collector, I used these dolls when presenting historical facts or stories.  They make interesting travel dolls, due to the smaller size, and also for presentation, I use accessories for the students to be able to touch and ask more questions. I love these dolls, as they are great to showcase, when size is a factor! the cost is lower than with the larger dolls, and as stated before, when size is a factor for showcasing your collection, these are an exceptional value and size!

I collect dolls and have the whole set of Miniature American Girl Dolls! I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who wants an American Girl doll but can't afford or doesn't have space for the full-sized versions. At only about $20 each, the mini dolls are very affordable. At only 6" tall, they are also much more convenient to travel with, display, and store than the full-sized, 18" versions.

The only drawback to the mini dolls is that they don't have the wide range of accessories, clothes, pets, and furniture that the larger ones do, so there isn't as much to collect. However, they come...
