Most HelpfulI was surprised to read all the positive reviews as I did not find these to be that great. There are several parts to clean and put together and I am sure once you get used to that it wouldn't be a big deal. I didn't like putting the disc in the bottom, I always had to run my finger nail around the...
review »I really like the design of these bottles. The angle makes it easy to hold. The one thing I noticed that makes it somewhat difficult is that sometimes it's hard to get liquid out of the bottles. I also think it's tiresome that there are so many parts to the bottle. The fact that air leaves the bottle before the baby can suck it in are a great benefit as it causes less gas and air in the baby's tummy. I was really bummed out that when I bought all my bottles they still had the bpa in them and then not even a couple weeks later they released all the bottles that are bpa free and I already spent...
review »My son is 7. When he was born I bought these bottles for less gas. They were awesome. I would not have recommended anything else to anyone. So when my twins were born a little over a year ago, there was no other bottle for me but them. Again, they were the best. They used them from the time they were born until they turned a year old.
Cleaning can be a pain, but if you have a dishwasher, its no big deal. I never had a problem with them leaking. Usually when they start leaking the bottom vent needs to be changed. You can call Playtex's 1-800 number easily found from their website and they will...
review »The playtex air vent bottles are the greatest bottles. They are angled, they have the silicon nipples that come in stages, slow flow and faster flow. They have the screw off bottom with the air vent that allows air to flow through so that the bottle has less air bubbles which means less gas for baby. My babyies had no problems holding this bottle and I never had any problems with the nipples colapsing. They do not leak (unless baby learns to squeeze the nipple, which is when it is time to take the bottle away !). When my baby was 3 months old he would stop breathing because he had acid reflux. ...
review »I am extremely disappointed with the Playtex Ventaire Advanced bottles.
We used the Playtex Ventaire bottles for our first child and they worked out well - the number of parts you have to clean is a bit annoying but overall they were good. When we had our second child, we bought the Playtex Ventaire Advanced bottles - and I have been EXTREMELY disappointed.
We have even been getting...
review »The Playtex Ventaire Nurser bottles were the perfect way to switch back and forth between nursing my son and bottle feeding him. He needed to be supplemented with formula early on, and not once did I have trouble with him not accepting the Nurser nipple or mine. The nipple made it even easier for me to return to work, because he didn't mind drinking pumped milk from the bottle.
I chose the Ventaire because I disliked the waste that comes with drop-in liners for other nurser bottles. I also liked the vent system because he was able to take his time, and not stop to let air into the bottle. ...
review »They come in two styles - regular and wide. They also have 6 oz and 9 oz sizes. I found these sizes to be much more versatile than the 4 and 8 ounce size bottles I usually find. I was able to use the 6 ounce bottles for months longer than a 4 ounce bottle. Being able to use them longer made them worth any extra cost. The nipples come in slow and fast flow. An in-between would be nice, though we didn't have too much trouble going from the slow to fast flow nipples - I'd say in less than a week my nephew had completely gotten the hang of the faster flow. The entire bottle comes apart for thorough...
