As a parent of one child and pretty soon of my second, i recommend these playtex bottle. Why? Well, with my first child i tried regular bottles. I was a first time parent and did'nt know what effect it could have on my baby. I realized that my baby would not go to sleep with peace. It would take for ever trying to get him to stop crying. His stomach would be bloaded for a long time. So i thought maybe he needs more burping or maybe he is sick or something. It was not until i took him to the doctor and they told me that everything was fine that i realize that it had to be something simple that i was just not seeing. As a last source i went to a family member of mine who i knew had much more experience than me. The first question comming out of this person's mouth was "Let me see the bottle you are using." I gave this person the bottle and walla there was my answer. They said, "You have to change this bottle immediately because all he is drinking is air. He is probably having tommy aches of so much air he is consuming of this bottle." I went to the store and got the playtex bottle. That day we all slept like a baby. It helped my baby drink the formula and just the formula. No air!!! I recommend it to any mom. Especially first time moms.
