Pros

    Handy bend in shape, dishwasher safe, helps with colic babies, Less air than other bottles, Affordable, Easy to clean, Can replace parts, Less gas for baby, Easy to find replacement parts

Cons
    If in A HURRY can take more time, hard to assemble in a hurry, May leak if not assembled correctly

I love the Ventaire system as far as
  • knowing your bottles are clean (they come apart completely so you can clean each piece)
  • keeping the gas out of your baby
  • easy to hold
  • good quality and durability (I've had mine for a year now and they are still going strong - including my dishwasher washed nipples/bottom seals!)
My only complaint is that these bottles have SIX PIECES.  This is a double edged sword because I always know my bottles are clean, but cleaning them and putting them back together is kind of a pain in the butt.  You deal with:
  • Cap
  • Nipple
  • Nipple ring/attachment
  • Bottle
  • Bottom seal
  • Bottom
You have to take the bottle all apart to clean it, leaving you with a lot of little pieces.  If you have a dishwasher and bottle accessory racks (like those made by munchkin), you will do pretty well.

Are they worth the cost and the hassle?  Yes, they have been comfortable, healthy bottles for our son.
