I do not recommend the Playtex Ventaire Advanced bottles

budget conscious, a busy person, Experienced Parent, married, Practical, value conscious
Cons
    6 different pieces per each bottle., ounce markings wash off., Must make time to assemble correctly, leaks out the bottom, Time consuming to wash because of pieces, LEAKS!, Line markings rub off, Numbers will erase after two weeks

Playtex Ventaire Baby Bottles — 

I am extremely disappointed with the Playtex Ventaire Advanced bottles.

We used the Playtex Ventaire bottles for our first child and they worked out well - the number of parts you have to clean is a bit annoying but overall they were good.  When we had our second child, we bought the Playtex Ventaire Advanced bottles - and I have been EXTREMELY disappointed. 

  • They leak, and
  • The numbers indicating the ounces on the outside of the bottle have come completely off - so we had to use a measuring cup to determine how many ounces we put in each bottle. NOT ACCEPTABLE! 

We have even been getting notes from daycare asking us not to bring the bottles back because they leak so much.  So, last night I went and bought new bottles - not from Playtex.  On a side note - we always wash the bottles by hand - have never put them in the dishwasher and we let them dry completely before putting them back together.

I agree. My niece used VentAir 3.5 years ago & they were great. Then they changed the style & made them BPA free. Now the numbers wear off within a month & the stupid bottles leak!!

I agree with you about the numbers coming off the BPA bottles, very disappointed with this issue for the bottles, my daughters has only used them for 2 months it was coming off after 3 weeks of use. My son used the ventaire clear bottles about 2 years ago and this did not happen to them, Like the style of bottle but would not recommend them to any now.
