Playtex Ventaire Baby Bottles — 

The bottles overall are great. I have used them with both of my children. I have only bought new nipples and the bottome pieces for my second child. They are great in preventing air bubbles in the milk. My only issue with them is that they need a stage in between nipple one and two. Number two is a lot bigger and caused both of my children to choke and spit up. If the nipples colapse during use the chances of the bottom being stuck is good. You must stretch the bottom rubber piece before putting it into the bottom of the bottle. If you look at the bottle you will know what I am talking about.

I would call Playtex. They'll send you new bottom pieces. I also have the same problem. I used this bottle for all my previous kids (I had three). I loved the bottles. I recently just had my fourth child and had no other bottle choice but playtex. Well, they just developed a new bottle and called it the Ventaire "Advance". After about two months the formula started leaking from the bottom of all the bottles. I bought six; Three 6 oz and three 9 oz. I called ventaire and they sent me new rubber pieces for the bottoms. Worked great until now. Three months later, the bottoms are leaking again. I'm going to call them again to see what I can do about this. Wish you luck.

I purchased the vent air advanced bottles recently and was pleased with them for a few weeks, then they started leaking formula out of the bottom. I followed the care instuctions yet this continues. I was disappointed for the amount of $ I spent on them to have them malfunction like that what should I do?? Megan
