Playtex VentAire Advanced 8 oz Baby Bottle Review

This bottle is very good.  It allows for air to come back into the bottle as your child is consuming the milk or formula from the bottle.  The only set back to this bottle is that it has so many parts.  There is a nipple, a ring, the bottle shaft, the base and the base ring to seal the bottom to the bottle shaft.  When it comes to cleaning this bottle you have to disassemble the entire rig and clean each peice.  When I have placed this many parts in my dishwasher (it is dishwasher safe), sometimes the nipple or ring falls to the bottom of the machine.  When this happens, the part will likely melt.  I found a case that would hold all of the parts and since I have done that, I haven't had any problems with melting peices.  All in all, I must say that this is a good product because it deters air bubbles that can make your child burp and spit up etc. If you are willing to do the work required in terms of cleaning, you too should be happy with this product.  On the other hand, if you are an on the go parent as many are, you might want to find something a little more user friendly.
